Introduction to Spheris Clarity™ Control

Clarity™ Control provides management control tools for supervisors of Spheris’ global workforce of more than 5,500 medical language specialists, monitoring the transcription process from physician dictation through document delivery. It offers supervisors single-dashboard visibility to ensure the highest levels of accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Clarity Control Advantages:

  • Automatically prioritizes and routes dictations to meet or exceed contracted turnaround times.
  • Supervisors have complete visibility and control over all jobs, enabling the management of transcription and editing resources through an advanced, Web-based user interface and real-time updates.

Clarity Control Features:

  • Control: Enables supervisors to manage all transcription activities from a single dashboard, and provides extensive supervisor reports, the ability to manually override rules-based job routing when necessary, and flexible system configuration options.

  • Universal Document and Workflow Manager: Automatic job routing to ensure that jobs are completed quickly and meet required turnaround times. Dictation, transcription and access information is combined into a single multimedia document to improve patient data access and increase privacy control. Once the transcribed document is completed, it is routed to the physician for online approval and signature via Clarity Care.

  • Multi-Level QA: System can be configured to automatically select a percentage of transcribed reports for pre-delivery QA or post-delivery quality monitoring. Multiple levels of QA can be established, helping to ensure the highest possible quality.

  • Quality Rule Creation: Supervisors have the ability to create information rules/reminders based on the site, location, work type and physician. These information notices pop up automatically when the MLS receives the job for transcription/editing that meet the rule criteria to provide reminders to them about account specifics, resulting in a more accurate document.
