- Automated faxing of carbon copies to authorized physicians.
- Automated uploads of completed documents to HIS systems.
- Expedited coding completion times via online access to dictation files and transcribed documents.
Clarity Courier Features:
- Online access: Application provides online access, via Clarity Care and Clarity Complete, to multi-media charts, drastically reducing costs associated with retrieving, sorting, copying, delivering and filing charts.
- Security: Role-based authentication and 128-bit SSL encryption provide secure access to charts with full search capability and audit trail. Physicians, coding specialists and HIM staff can access Clarity documents over the Internet without the need to install client software such as MS Word.
- Enterprise Floor Printing: Eliminates costs associated with the distribution of paper-based clinical documents to hospital floors. System automatically routes and prints documents to any printer within the hospital/healthcare system based on the patient's location at the time of printing. Documents can be configured to include watermarks and footer stamps (such as copy type). Printing can be configured to occur in batches at set times and sorted by a variety of attributes.
- Autofax: Eliminates the effort to manually print and fax paper-based clinical documents to physicians without access to the hospital's printer network. System automatically faxes documents to specified physicians upon document creation and eSignature. All faxes are logged in the record's audit trail.
- HIS Upload: Automatically uploads clinical documents, including physician edits, to the hospital's HIS and/or chart deficiency system. System supports both HL7 and non-HL7 interfaces. A wide range of packaged adapters are available enabling quick integration with all major systems.
- Universal document and workflow manager: Automatically determines when, where, to whom and in which format each clinical document should be delivered. Highly flexible engine can be configured to meet the unique requirements of each hospital or healthcare system. The document manager also controls and records all clinical document access activity from dictation through physician sign-off to ensure patient data privacy and facilitate preparation for HIPAA audits.
