Christopher Rehm, M.D.

Chief Medical Officer

Christopher Rehm, M.D., joined Spheris as Chief Medical Officer in July 2002. In his role, Rehm serves both Spheris and the medical transcription industry by bringing first-hand clinical experience and insights to the processing of electronic medical records.

Prior to joining Spheris, Rehm completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard's Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation program based at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. He was the Chief Resident from 2000 to 2001 and was a member of several administrative and education committees.

Rehm received a bachelor of science in molecular biology from Vanderbilt University and a medical degree from Northwestern University.
